Texas cities on a mission

The Dallas and Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Centres (CVBs) participated in a UK trade sales mission last month to raise awareness of their suitability as a convenient double-city break.

The two Texas cities are less than an hour apart and linked by Trinity Railway Express, a commuter rail service with transfer access to DFW International Airport.

Dallas is one of the country’s most cosmopolitan cities, with a fantastic arts scene and leading cultural attractions such as the Dallas Museum of Art and Crow Collection of Asian Art and the sleek Nasher Sculpture Centre.

Fort Worth is known primarily for its authentic cowboy culture and daily cattle drives.

Popular attractions include the Stockyards National Historic District, the Fort Worth Cultural District and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
