Visit USA Pavilion pulls in visitors at Destinations London

Exhibitors in the Visit USA Pavilion at Destinations London, held at Olympia from February 4-7, saw a strong flow of interested USA-bound travellers engaging with over 20 Visit USA members such as America As You Like It, North Carolina, My America Holiday, Kansas Oklahoma and Bon Voyage.

Not only did attendance appear to be higher than last year, visitors were certainly more engaged in finding out as much as they could about travel opportunities and experiences throughout the USA, and the best way to create a bespoke multi-destination holiday.

Caroline Donaldson-Sinclair, representing Vermont at the event and also a director of the Visit USA Association said “Destinations London has been successful in highlighting the attractions of Vermont but also the concept of the Visit USA Pavilion is getting stronger each year as the Association develops new marketing tools to help the UK holidaymaker make the most of any USA experience.

“The large map of the USA on display drew all our members together – this combined with the map handout has proved a hit with all visitors to the exhibition this year. We will be continuing to work closely with our members to expand the Visit USA presence and maximise the visibility of the USA at this annual event.”

Strong turnout expected at Unite Visit USA

Unite Visit USA will take place on March 17 with association members meeting with buyers and tour operators at the Mermaid Conference & Events Centre in Blackfriars, London.

So popular has this annual event proved to be with destinations and buyers alike that there are 50 organisations participating and a wait list in operation.

With tour operators attending for pre-arranged meetings with exhibitors, the event is a cost-effective example of how Visit USA can combine the strength of its members to create an effective commercial market place.

There is still time to register as a buyer - contact for more information.

The all-day event has become a ‘must-do’ for many members, said Tracey Spuyman, CEO at Visit USA. “Unite Visit USA has quickly established itself as a permanent fixture in the Visit USA calendar and we are looking forward to another successful event this March. Lunch on the day is being sponsored by Brand USA who will be collaborating with us at Visit USA to bring timely and relevant news and information to all those attending this fast-growing industry event.”
