Visit USA spreads the word at Destinations

The start of each new year brings a cycle of consumer travel shows to the UK and Visit USA members, such as Capital Region USA and United Airlines, were out in force at Destinations Manchester, held at EventCity January 21-24.


By bringing the collective strength of Visit USA members together, the Visit USA Pavilion sought to raise the profile of the USA as the preferred travel destination for 2016.

Pamela Newman, Operations & Development Manager at Visit USA said “The Visit USA Pavilion at Destinations Manchester was vibrant and well-attended and we look forward to seeing how Destinations London early in February performs in terms of footfall for our members in the Pavilion.”

This year in addition to the Travel Planner, a standalone map has been produced by Visit USA and, said Newman, “helped reinforce the breadth of destinations and travel opportunities in the USA with the people we met at Destinations”.

She added: “This same Visit USA map will be landing on the doorsteps of travel agents in February and will serve as a useful tool to aid discussion of a multi-destination USA holiday face to face with clients.”

Destinations London takes place at Olympia February 4-7. More Visit USA members, including Vermont, Hawaii and Deep South USA, will be present to continue to spread the word regarding the many attractions the USA has to offer holidaymakers this year.
