Aloft guests can borrow a Cruiser bicycle and hit the stunning Sarasota waterfront, a block away, or head to Lido Beach, a five-minute drive away.

Boutique hotels thrive in Vermont

Two new boutique hotels have opened in the New England state of Vermont, with both reflecting ‘American style and comfort’.

The stylish Field Guide Hotel, located in the town of Stowe, offers 30 modern rooms, suites and cottage suites, a spacious designer guest lounge and a seasonal heated pool and hot tub.

The newly-opened hotel is located in downtown Stowe and serves a comfortable base for those hiking, skiing or leaf peeping in the area.

In Vermont’s Manchester Village, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants group is celebrating the opening of its first Vermont property, The Taconic Hotel.

The hotel is surrounded by mountains and a picturesque village. Manchester Village is a great destination for outdoor activities: visitors can go fishing, ski, play golf, explore historic and cultural landmarks and partake in various watersports.
